Pascal Coppens (Nexxworks) will tell us about China's impending leading position in the development and implementation of artificial intelligence, what we can learn from it, and why we better should speed up at lightspeed in Europe, and in particular in The Beacon and its community. Pascal recently returned from a roundtrip in China, and will disclose his very fresh findings.
Pascal will tell us more about all the Chinese wonders lying below the waterline of the iceberg, and which will have a huge impact on us in the coming years: from the hundreds of fast growing innovators which are completely unknown to the rest of the world to the red thread of the book: China's impending leading position in the development and implementation of artificial intelligence.
You will be able to read more after the session, because Pascal's new book about this theme is included in the price of the event: China’s New Normal.
As an intro to an interactive debate, Wim De Waele, as CEO of The Beacon involved in the AI4Belgium consortium, will place some critrical notes to the Chinese tech story and facts and figures, and put it in perspective on how we should act in Europe.
This inspiration session is supported by Vlaio in the context of the IBN (Innovative Company Network) "IoT ValueChain", integrated in The Beacon. More info on our website and www.agoria.be/iotcluster.
